The test of our progress is not whether we add more to the abundance of those who have much; it is whether we provide enough for those who have too little. ~Franklin D. Roosevelt

Biography Greetings! I am a graduate of the University of South Carolina and Grand Canyon University with an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and a Graduate degree in Educational Administration.
I am an avid college football fan. I was born and raised right here in the great State of South Carolina. I’ve been working with elementary age children in some capacity since 2007. I worked as a Program Director with the Boys and Girls Club of the Midlands for five years prior to joining the Richland Two Family. I initially started my college career as a Criminal Justice major but after working at the Boys and Girls Club for a short period of time, I decided that I could make more of a difference by helping to mold youngsters into productive citizens. Previously, I worked in Response to Intervention and taught 4th grade at Polo Road Elementary for four years. This is my second year as an assistant principal at Sandlapper elementary and I am excited to have the opportunity to help students grow as learners as well as young citizens. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, keeping up with domestic and foreign affairs, and going to the beach. I am a lifelong learner and I believe we should teach children the importance of being a lifelong learner.
